Ilhom Babaev has 3 years experience in general office administration. During his previous occupations he was responsible for:
General office administration (control of the office use, municipal payment, vehicles control);
Control & Regulation of Marketing Staff
Assistant to Financial Analyst;
Visa, Registration & Labour Card for foreigners;
Preparation of various statements for General Director regarding Financial Control;
Translating / interpreting official documents, meetings and negotiations;
Clearance of imported Raw Material from customs;
Currently he has responsibilities on arranging office and research supplies, and handling other logistics, handling visa support matters, visitors’ schedule (tickets, accommodation), supervision of Transport Pool (scheduling, repair and maintenance), secretarial tasks (incoming and outgoing documents, PABX, store maintenance), maintaining liaison with governmental organizations (DDS of MFA) and sister organizations in PFU/CGIAR, translating / interpreting reports, workshops.
In the capacity of Communication Officer for GWP CACENA (IWMI-CAC is Host Institute) he has following responsibilities:
Assisting in the implementation of the Comprehensive Work Programme and follow up to the Framework for Action
Assisting the GWP-CACENA in developing regional network and developing new mechanisms that promote integrated water resources management
In close contact with the GWP CACENA TAC chairperson assisting in developing of Associated Programmes.
Preparations for the meetings of the RTAC and to follow up actions of those meetings
On request provide services to RTAC members
Assisting the RTAC Chairperson as required
He has been appointed Administrative Secretary of the International Water Management Institute / Uzbekistan, since August 2002. From January 2003 he started acting also for GWP CACENA in capacity of Communication Officer
