\"Seipati has previously worked as a junior researcher for the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) and as an Associate Researcher at the Southern Centre for Inequality Studies (SCIS) at the University of Witwatersrand. Her research has influenced policy addressing skills, educational and employment needs of young South Africans to create and promote sustainable work opportunities and livelihoods. She has also conducted research on the changing nature of work due to technological innovation, with a specific focus on digital labour platforms and social protection mechanisms available to workers in the Global South. In August 2022, Seipati co-authored and published a book titled \'#FeesMustFall and its Aftermath\' about violence, wellbeing and the student protest movement in South Africa. She also published an opinion piece on the lack of leadership and its severe impacts on South African youth and women. Currently, Seipati is a Gender, Youth and Social Inclusion (GESI) Research Officer at IWMI\'s South Africa office.\"
