Giulia was full-time Consultant for the World Bank in Luanda, Angola. Prior to that, she was a Consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank and a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Economics at Harvard University. She also worked a short-term consultancy for the African Development Bank and the the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO). She conducted fieldwork in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Peru, Ecuador, and Suriname.
