IWMI’s WRAP program to improve water governance in Pakistan

IWMI Pakistan, with UKaid support, leads the WRAP program to address Pakistan's water challenges, improve management, and data collection.

The International Water Management Institute (IWMI) Pakistan, with support from UKaid, is leading the Water Resource Accountability in Pakistan (WRAP) program to address water challenges. WRAP aims to improve water resource management at federal, provincial, and district levels by establishing reliable water accounts and supporting water policy implementation. The program includes workshops to assess water accounting mechanisms, enhance capacity, and promote gender equity in water management. The goal is to strengthen water governance through climate-resilient solutions and generate evidence for national policies on climate and water.
