Sri Lanka’s Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena urged IWMI and CGIAR to look into new areas to enhance agriculture, fisheries and poultry production to improve exports as well as the nutrition intake of rural populations. The Prime Minister thanked IWMI and CGIAR for their assistance to Sri Lanka to improve water, irrigation and food security over the years.
