Karthi worked as a Research Fellow at the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI), Thailand, leading projects on the development of web-based tools like monitoring riverbank erosion in Myanmar, and Water Evaluation and Planning (WEAP)-based Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) models. Prior to SEI, he was a post-doctoral fellow at IWMI working on monitoring and modelling of water related disasters like floods and droughts. He has worked extensively in South and Southeast Asia. Currently, Karthi is based at IWMI HQ in Sri Lanka.
