Andrew worked as a Science Officer with the Working Group II Technical Support Unit of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. In this role, he was involved in producing IPCC reports, including the Working II contribution to the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report. Before this IPCC role, Andrew worked as a Senior Researcher under the South African Research Chair in Applied Poverty Reduction Assessment, where he led the implementation of a European Union-funded project on the co-benefits of climate change projects. Andrew has published several peer-reviewed journal papers, edited books and technical reports.
