Advancing Solar Irrigation in India: A Science Policy Forum

The forum will engage in an in-depth discussion about scaling strategies and policy interventions, including a focus on Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) perspectives, aimed at promoting solar irrigation in India. It will discuss recent insights into challenges with Solar Irrigation Pumps (SIP,) their impact on livelihoods and groundwater, and the need for capacity building interventions.
