
Fish for Livelihoods
The project has four main outputs: 1) Smallholder aquaculture production increased by the use of strategic activities including improved land and water use, training and access to credit; 2) Market-based approaches utilized to increase access to high quality inputs (feed, seed and equipment) and ensure improved availability of food safe fish and fish products; 3) Enhanced nutrition and WASH practices delivered via social and behaviour change (SBC) for smallholders and the poor; and 4) Capacity developed for education and research into production and processing of food safe aquaculture products. The four outputs will include improved organizational development and information sharing with donor coordination and support to the private sector by means of full cooperation with the Myanmar Fisheries Federation (MFF) and their associations.
