Duration : November 20, 2017 - May 20, 2018
(Extended to July 31, 2018)
Overview:

The goal of the research project is to provide further relevant knowledge for the GIZ target areas and to prepare specific interventions, pilot projects and development measures including the identification of potential business models that could offer an increase of organic fertilizer production and utilization within the target areas, while integrating municipal compost initiatives as envisioned by the government of India. From this perspective, a number of research activities will be conducted to provide more knowledge that could support the target areas in Maharashtra, including screening potential business models for the use of urban waste as soil amendments for potential implementation.
