Project Profile

Raising the WLE profile through strategic outputs

Duration : June 1, 2019 - May 31, 2021

A continuous call in the NRM discussion is to move up the impact pathway and for sustainable intensification to link stronger to finance options and/or the private sector, being aware that there can be significant trade-offs. Based on our RRR experience, we believe that NRM solutions should be looked at from a business perspective to better understand options for a sustainable uptake, especially in view of solutions which work beyond the farm scale. This has been echoed by CCAFS and CCAFS seems to be moving in the same direction, which makes it even more urgent to keep pace. So far, the related knowledge is thin and scattered, slowly moving beyond an analysis of the value of ESS to business models.
