MENAdrought: empowering and enhancing drought management systems in the Middle East North Africa (MENA)

Duration : August 15, 2018 - September 30, 2021

The goal of the project is to empower decision-makers to plan for and manage the impacts of droughts on food and water security This will be achieved through achieving two main objectives: 1. Strengthening drought monitoring, forecasting, planning, management and policy 2. Developing appropriate resilience building measures to support water and agricultural production in the most vulnerable and at-risk communities.
