Consultancy services for Sri Lanka’s National Adaptation Plan

This project is aimed at building resilience of the most vulnerable sectors and communities in Sri Lanka to adverse effects of climate change by strengthening the country’s capacity and system to implement the National Adaptation Plan (NAP). Guided by the approved Green Climate Fund (GCF) -National Adaptation Plan Proposal’s theory of change, IWMI will strengthen the national, sectoral, and provincial capacities to use best available climate information, methodologies, and tools for medium and long-term development planning to enhance climate resilience in the country. IWMI will be responsible for providing support to the Project by ensuring that the key deliverables outlined below are robustly designed; allows for review of and immediate action for any gaps and/or overlaps; conducted on schedule; and pertinent documentation are prepared, validated, and submitted on time and in accordance with the Approved GCF NAP Readiness Support Proposal and Approved Work Plan.
