Regional Researcher - Agricultural Water Management Solutions

Tinashe is goal-oriented with a passion for research and development that is dynamic, transformative, informs policy and achieves societal impacts. Before joining IWMI, he worked as a Researcher and Lecturer in irrigation design and management at the University of KwaZulu Natal and the University of the Free State in South Africa. Tinashe also worked as Technical Expert for the Southern African Science Service Centre for Climate Change and Adaptive Land Management (SASSCAL) through the Namibian University of Science and Technology, and the Sustainable Environment and Blue Economy (SEBE) Directorate of the African Union Commission (AUC).
