Surajit has worked for various profit and nonprofit organizations such as the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA) and IORA Ecological Solutions Pvt. Ltd, and space agencies such as Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). His work has primarily been in the South Asia region.
