ECONOMYNEXT – The International Water Management Institute (IWMI), based in Colombo, will become a partner of Biodiversity Sri Lanka (BSL), giving the outfit promoting biodiversity and environmental conservation access to water management expertise.

IWMI will serve as an associate member of Biodiversity Sri Lanka (BSL), strengthening its ability to provide added technical support to its membership on Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) and biodiversity conservation, a statement said.

“IWMI’s technical guidance and support will also expand opportunities for BSL members to garner knowledge and expertise in proactive actions towards climate change adaptation, sustainable agriculture and food security.”
