IWMI Pakistan and Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT), RYK join hands to organize an international workshop on Water, Energy, Food and Ecosystem (WEFE) Nexus for Indus Basin

16 May 2022, Rahim Yar Khan: The International Water Management Institute (IWMI) Pakistan led CGIAR workshop on the new research for development program “NEXUS Gains for the Indus Basin: Realizing Multiple Benefits Across Water, Energy, Food and Ecosystems (Forests, Biodiversity)”. The workshop was organized in collaboration with Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT) and International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI).

Officials from the private sector, Fauji Fertilizer Company (FFC), progressive farmers, Punjab Irrigation Department, Government of Punjab’s On Farm Water Management (OFWM) Department, and Pakistan Council of Research in Water Resources (PCRWR) participated in the workshop. Approximately 150 people attended the event.
