Launching of National Platform on Agricultural Water Management (AWM)

Ministry of Agricultural through Natural Resource Management Directorate in collaboration with IWMI and CARE Ethiopia organizes launching of a National Platform on Agricultural Water Management (AWM) will take place from 15-16 January 2015 at Lalibela Conference room in ILRI campus. The purpose of national event is to integrate sector dialogue on small-scale irrigation, soil and water conservation and other forms of water management under broader concept of Agricultural Water Management. It aimed at enhancing experience sharing and facilitating scaling up of best practices on AWM. The high-level event will bring together representatives from Government Offices, NGOs, Development Partners and Research Institutions.
