Compelling discussion, commentary, stories on agriculture within thriving ecosystems.

How we can produce more food without wrecking the environment?

Interested in contributing to our global conversation? Have research results to share? An opinion on agricultural solutions? Please submit your blog or idea. The space is open to scientists, academics, policy-makers, media, development practitioners and anyone with an informed viewpoint.

About Thrive

In order to feed up to 10 billion people by 2050, we need to take a serious look at our food systems—and the impacts our choices have on our natural resources and ecosystems. What has worked? What hasn’t? And what should we do going forward? That's what interests us at Thrive.

Thrive is a space for discussion on natural resource management and agricultural development. Over the years, it has grown into a flourishing opinion and information space. Thrive is a product of the CGIAR Research Program on Water, Land and Ecosystems (WLE), led by IWMI and other partners.
