Yvan is a Hydrogeologist and Senior Researcher for the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) in South Africa. Throughout his career the focus has been to bring solution for sustainable water uses. Present areas of particular interest include Groundwater, Transboundary Groundwater Management, Conjunctive use of Surface Water and Groundwater, Food Security with a special focus on the development of Sustainable Groundwater use in Africa and Climate Change adaption.
