Prossie Nakawuka is a Water Resources Management Consultant with the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) based in Kampala, Uganda.
An Agricultural/Irrigation engineer by training, Dr. Nakawuka has close to 10 years of experience in water resources management, irrigation systems design, irrigation water management, modeling crop water use and productivity, hydrological modeling and agricultural extension. She has worked on a number of design, implementation, and assessment projects aimed at improving agricultural water use and management in both rain-fed and irrigated agriculture systems in order to improve water productivity and minimize the negative agricultural impacts on the environmental in both sub-Saharan Africa and the United States.
