Josefina Achaval Torre is a Project Officer for the Commission on Sustainable Agriculture Intensification (CoSAI). She holds a joint MSc in Environmental Sciences, Policy and Management from the Central European University (Hungary) and Lund University (Sweden), where she specialized in climate change and security. She comes from Argentina, has studied and worked around the world, and spent the last year supporting the Climate Change Adaptation team at the United Nations Development Programme Istanbul Regional Hub (UNDP IRH). Josefina has previous experiences in sustainable agriculture, project management and low-carbon transitions, and hopes to help achieve food security particularly in the Global South through innovations that lead to sustainability in the water-energy-food nexus. Josefina is currently based in Oslo, Norway.
