Dipika Das

Dipika Das was a former IWMI Nepal staff. She is a gender researcher by training with a research interest in the ways gender norms, power relations, cultural practices can mediate smallholder women’s farm participation and farm-related bargaining in resource-poor settings of rural agriculture. She has a Master’s degree in Gender and Development Studies from Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. Currently, she is a PhD candidate (Australian Centre for International Agriculture Research-John Allwright Fellow) at the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. Her PhD focuses on investigating women smallholder farmers farm-related bargaining in the Eastern Gangetic Plain region using a gender lens.
