The Finance Lever Public Forum is a valuable opportunity to explore what is needed to scale investment in sustainable food systems, to profile promising solutions that could be replicated and scaled, and secure input on the Finance Lever's plans and priorities, identifying opportunities to fill gaps and work together. Specifically, the Forum aims to:
- Set out the shifts required in financial systems to support the transformation of food systems and secure input on this emerging narrative
- Share an update on progress and proposals to leverage finance to support sustainable food systems
- Provide a platform for promising solutions that could be replicated and scaled
- Seek input from participants by identifying gaps, recommendations on emerging finance-related solution areas, and suggestions for action
Chair of the Commission on Sustainable Agriculture Intensification (CoSAI), Dr. Ruben Echeverría, will provide a perspective on the importance of financing innovation.
