Resilient Cities 2017

8th Global Forum on Urban Resilience and Agriculture

Hosted in Bonn, Germany ahead of the Bonn Climate Change Conference, Resilient Cities 2017 aims to connect local government leaders and climate change adaptation experts to discuss challenges facing urban environments around the globe.

WLE's Rural-Urban Linkages research theme, in collaboration with the RUAF Foundation, will present the work that is being done on City Region Food Systems, looking at urban food supply under extreme climate change events.

Pay Drechsel of IWMI and and Marielle Dubbeling of RUAF, the co-leads of the Rural-Urban Linkages theme, will attend the conference after a partner meeting RUAF foundation partner meeting in Ghent. In Bonn, they will be hosting, moderating and speaking for a number of key events. More details to come.
