Global Landscapes Forum 2015

Saturday, December 5, 2015 to Sunday, December 6, 2015

As world leaders convene for the 21st Conference of the Parties (COP21) to agree upon the global climate agenda, the Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) will leverage this historical opportunity to shape the world’s development trajectory for decades to come. WLE scientists are contributing to both events with evidence and experience on how landscape approaches can contribute to climate change mitigation and sustainable intensification of agriculture.GLF Paris logo

The 2015 Global Landscapes Forum is organized by the Center for International Forestry Research in collaboration with WLE and other partners. Check out the sessions on the GLF 2015 Agenda.

GLF is a side event of the COP21. WLE's Research Coordinator, Nathanial Matthews, will be presenting in a COP21 session led by IUCN on Natural Infrastructure Solutions for Adaptation on Dec. 4 at 14:00. In addition, Deborah Bossio of CIAT will be involved in two side events of the COP21: she will sit on the panel of the BMZ organized Soil Matters - and is a Key Element of Climate Smart Agriculture; and will participate in a "4 per 100" event with a number of other CGIAR scientists.
