IWMI signs MOU with the UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education

The two organizations will develop a range of activities to strengthen the global knowledge base for the sustainable management of water, land and environmental resources.

Delft, 19 May. IWMI Director General Jeremy Bird signed a  renewed memorandum of understanding with the Rector of the UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education, Professor Andras Szollosi-Nagy.  IWMI-UNESCO-IHE

The two organizations will develop a range of activities to strengthen  the global knowledge  base for the sustainable management of water, land and environmental  resources.

The collaboration will initially focus on three key themes: water management and global change, water data and water accounting, and improved options for water management to eradicate extreme poverty and support sustainable development.
