The horticulture expo was organized by the department of horticulture from the 25th to the 29th of January, and IWMI-RUAF team participated in the Expo to showcase  the possibility of  cultivating in a space constraint urban environment through Low Space No Space technologies.

 The exhibition was inaugurated by the Mr. Rosaiah, Hon'ble Minister of Finance, Government of Andhra Pradesh who also made a visit to the IWMI stall along with Dr. Anil Puneetha, Director of Horticulture.

Nearly 5000 and odd people visited the stall which was a special attraction in the expo and about 1050 visitors expressed interest in training on the low space no space methods hailing from different parts of Hyderabad metropolis and near by districts.

The stall was visited by N. Raghu Veera Reddy,  Minister of Agriculture, Government of Andhra Pradesh and also by many of the department personnel and eminent citizens of Hyderabad who expressed interest in the method.

The stall was also captured in for the exclusive documentary film made for the horticulture department and was written about in leading local language Daily,Eenadu. Dr. Anil Puneetha, gave an exclusive interview on the stall, which was published in Deccan Chronicle, the leading English Daily of Andhra Pradesh.

The structure, which were put on display included cultivation ladder, cultivation rack, cultivation square, cultivation pyramids and platforms.
