These conferences will be opportunities for SIMA scientists to present research outputs and recommendations to the actual implementers and policy makers on how various agro-ecosystem approaches can reduce malaria. Workshop on capacity-building and competitive proposal-development in ecosystem approaches to malaria prevention and control in Eastern and Southern Africa, ICRAF, Nairobi, 26 – 31 May 2002.
