Overview

Historically,  Irrigation has had a large positive impact on poverty reduction. During the Green Revolution of the 1960s, irrigation helped India stave off famine and reduce rural poverty.

However, today,

irrigation is stagnating. It is declining across Asia and is not widespread in Africa.

More than 9 billion people will inhabit the Earth by 2050.....

How will we feed ourselves?
