IWMI at the World Water Forum

The AgWater Solutions project is presenting four ‘Solutions’ in the session Contribute to food security by optimal use of water at the 6th World Water Forum in Marseilles this week:

  • A little rainfall can go a long way to feed many more: Act Now (watershed development in Ethiopia)  (Session 221)
  • Sustainable food security through increased productivity of irrigated agriculture: access to pumps for smallholders across sub-Saharan Africa and India (Session 222)
  • Securing world food supplies through increased water storage systems: Rethinking small dams for multiple uses (Session 225)
  • Make water work for small farmers also: an answer to  food security  & production challenges (rainwater harvesting ) (Session 229)

The presentations will be made on March 14 at 11.00-13.00 in the Palais des congres (PC) N+1 – Room: PC 8 Callelongue
