15 - 17 September 2010, Jamshoro - Pakistan

The scientific committee for The International Conference on Sustainable Water Management in Developing and Transition Countries (SWM2010) is pleased to invite abstracts for consideration for the oral and poster presentations of full papers at SW2010 to be held from 15-17th September 2010 at Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Pakistan. The conference is being organised by the British Council supported project partners in association with UNESCO. The scientific committee has been drawn from over 25 countries and we are envisaging this to be a world class event of international standing. We also see this event an opportunity for the state of art information and cutting edge research/technology dissemination. We are expecting around 200-300 delegates.

The invited keynote speakers include:

• Prof. David Butler (UK)
• Prof. Ralf Otterpohl (Germany)
• Mary Ann Dickinson (USA)
• Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak (India)
• Dennis Mwanza (Kenya / World Bank)

In addition to keynote speakers, we have invited distinguished members of the scientific committee to present themed papers at conference parallel sessions.

The Conference outputs are envisaged to be:

• Conference proceedings (hard copy),
• Conference full papers (searchable) on CD
• Publication of quality papers as  journal volume(s) from well reputed publisher/ UNESCO

We are also planning an exhibition to provide participants exposure to state of the art technology, research tools and outputs and organizations working for sustainable water management.
