IWMI communicates its strategic direction, organizational performance and research framework to a wide range of stakeholders from research and development partners to academics and donors. The Institute also conducts regular Center Commissioned External Reviews (CCERs) and an External Program and Management Review (EPMR) once in seven years.
IWMI Annual Report provides an overview of organizational developments and events, a brief review of key research projects and a report on staffing, financial performance and funding during a fiscal year.
Mid-Term Plan (MTP) outlines IWMI’s research framework which underpins the center’s strategic goals, providing details of the structure, implementation, outputs, outcomes and expected impacts of all projects under thematic research.
Strategic Plan provides a plan for future direction in research, organizational performance and knowledge dissemination, mapping both long term and short term goals, and integrating IWMI’s research roles and organizational functions in order to create a robust and effective center. A new IWMI Strategic Plan is currently under development
External Program and Management Review (EPMR) Report of 2007 is an assessment of IWMI’s performance and institutional health in the following areas: mission, strategy, priorities, quality and relevance of research, effectiveness and efficiency of management and center accomplishments and impact, within the parameter of the CGIAR goals.
