PAUL PAVELIC

Principal Researcher - Hydrogeology

IWMI Laos

Paul Pavelic is a groundwater hydrologist with research and development experience gained from working with CSIRO in Australia and various developed and developing countries. His specialties including managed aquifer recharge, groundwater resource assessment, salinity and waterlogging, contaminant fate and transport, surface water - groundwater interactions, water treatment and water reuse.

Since commencing with IWMI in 2008 Paul has focused on the role of groundwater and conjunctive use in addressing interdisciplinary problems in sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia and South East Asia. Most of these projects are associated with IWMI's Water Availability and Access Theme.
