Guillaume Lestrelin, recently recruited as international volunteer by the French "Institut de Recherche pour le Développement", is a human geographer based in Lao PDR.With an educational background in ecology, he had progressively turned to social sciences: from ecology to human ecology then to geography. He is now specialized in the study of the interface "Production systems / Ecosystems" in the developing countries.
