Dominique Perera, a Sri Lankan national, joined IWMI on March 28th 2005 and has eight years experience in Software Development as a Programmer, System Analyst/Senior Software Engineer and Web Master. He is proficient in design, development, deployment and maintenance of web sites/web-portals and database-driven web applications.

As his first position at IWMI being the Web Services Officer, he maintained the IWMI intranet and web site as well as supported other web related projects and communications product development he quickly progressed to the position of Web Master for IWMI. He is now in charge of design, development and maintenance of the IWMI web site and intranet and supervisors a team to this effect. Dominique also oversees several other key products within iwmi including the IWMI annual report (web version) and consults on various projects which involve analysis of requirements and production of reports and web sites for iwmi and it's partners.

Dominique has the following skills set:
Project management with leadership skills and task oriented strategy; Customer oriented presentation skills with the capacity to interface closely with clients on projects; Analysis and design as well as development of complex applications with web based technologies; User interface design skills with an eye for detail; Programming experience and knowledge with active server pages and SQL server technologies; SQL server database design and administration knowledge; Design and animation of web sites and applications with Adobe (Macromedia) Flash, ActionScript, JavaScript, ASP, XML and databases.
